Rehoming our sweet little white mame (mini) Shiba Inu girl. She’s 6 years old and is spayed and microchipped. Small enough to carry in one arm (but has a bit of chunk to go with her beautiful floofy coat). Perfect house manners (no chewing, potty accidents, scratching, digging, etc). She can be safely left unsupervised with free access to the house. She adores children (no babies or toddlers please, she gets excited and can accidentally knock them down). She loves to play (fetch is her favorite) and hunt (would probably be in heaven if she got to do barn hunts). Very melodramatic about her harness but loves walks. Very friendly and outgoing with people. Doesn’t like other dogs in her personal space. She loves comfy napping spots and sleeps snuggled up to her person/ people. Ignores cats for the most part and would be fine with cat roommates. She does have high resource guarding tendencies (but is not aggressive toward people/ doesn’t guard from humans) and would be happiest as an only dog. She also has an overbite but it does not bother her. She has no allergies or known health issues, but would benefit from occasional professional teeth cleaning. Her ideal home: - Would have no other dogs. Especially not young, rambunctious ones, or ones with aggressive tendencies. - May or may not have children. Children should be over the age of 5. - Has a securely fenced back yard. - Would allow her to sleep on the bed and let her have access to all furniture. - Would provide stairs for her to climb on and off the bed, since she is small and it will be hard on her joints to jump down constantly. - Will not crate her. - Will not make her wear a collar in the house. Amazing if you work from home but not critical. Small rehoming fee (3 digit). I’m primarily interested in finding her a wonderful home that’s perfect for her (a home visit is likely in order to ensure this).
