HOW TO APPLY: hagadonemarine.com/careers KEY RESPONSIBILITES: -Unwrapping and rigging new boats and trailers -Installing marine accessories on new and used boats for sales -Basic diagnosing and repairing problems with marine engines, systems and electronics. -Accurately and honestly account for all time and materials on each work order. MAJOR DUTIES: -Service Administration -Prepare boats for presentation and delivery to customers. -Properly attach any components to the boat and/or trailer that the manufacturer did not assemble. -Examine the boat/vessel and discuss the nature and extent of repair or malfunction with the service advisor or customer. -Assure that the boat and trailer are in safe and working order. -Install optional equipment and electronics. -Troubleshoot and verify the working order of the electronics system. -Perform light-duty tasks such as changing oil filters, general service, and warranty repairs. -Ensure all warranty work is completed according to manufacturer's guidelines. -Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler within the established timeframe. -Set up and participate in boat shows and other off-site promotional events. -Perform all work in a safe and clean manner leaving the boat in top condition. -Maintain a professional and clean facility and showroom conducive to selling. -Maintain tools and equipment in good condition according to established guidelines. -Other duties as required. -Help to develop unity and teamwork with respect and positive attitude. -Promote positive interdepartmental relationships. -Attend safety/instructional courses as needed -Explore ways to better serve customers -Attend boat shows and other special events as needed. -Superior execution of high product quality, attentive, responsive and attractive service staff and warm, fun atmosphere. -Help with general maintenance SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -Able to work an average of 40 - 50 hours per week. -Able to work a variety of shifts, which include weekends, nights, days, and holidays. -Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time. -Able to walk on tile, carpet, and up and down stairs. -Able to lift up to 100 lbs using proper safety procedures -Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
