We are hiring for a Custodian/Janitor for $16 per hour at Hagadone Marine Group! Find out more about us here: hagadonemarine.com HOW TO APPLY: hagadonemarine.com/careers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and maintain facilities to the clean and neat standards of Hagadone Marine Group, at all times as directed by Maintenance Manager. MAJOR DUTIES: Clean and maintain all public use areas including tile, wood, carpeted areas, restrooms, walls, brass surfaces, glass, and marble. Operate power and hand cleaning equipment, including; power buffer/polisher, shampooers, vacuum cleaners, floor machines, brooms, dust mops, and wet floor mops. Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties, as directed by Maintenance Manager. Minimize fall hazards and maintain a safe work environment.. Keep walkways and parking areas free of debris. Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in the Maintenance Dept., as directed by Maintenance Manager.. Install and maintain patio and office furniture. Perform simple dock cleaning and maintenance as directed by Maintenance Manager. Perform Landscaping duties related to facilities as directed by Maintenance Manager. Reports all damage or malfunctioning equipment to Maintenance Manager. Ensure walkways and entrances to all showrooms are free of debris, ice and snow at all times. Performs other related duties as required. Requirements and Physical Demands: Able to work an average of 40 hours per week. Able to work a variety of shifts, which include weekends, nights, days, and holidays. Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time. Able to walk on a variety of even and uneven surfaces. Able to work in inclement weather conditions. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
