Are you looking to learn HVAC & get hired as an HVAC technician? Have no skills, but got the will? UniColorado Heating & Cooling is looking to hire helpers to help our installers, learn on the job & eventually become their own HVAC technician/installer. Requirements: - Available at least 3-4 days a week (typically no weekends) - Professional manner & character - Honest, trustworthy & helpful - Want to learn the HVAC trade - Read, write & speak English fluently - Car (to get to our offices & back) What we expect: - You're professional, physically fit, can handle yourself, can handle tools & stay level-headed. - You're reliable - You understand that there is a learning curve & to ask questions from us and ask for help - You're not abusing substances & do not partake in illegal activities - Optional: You have an LLC or we can help you set one up. What you will do on the job: - Help the installer (typical tasks: get tools & materials, make supply store runs, help them lift & place equipment) - Repair & work on HVAC equipment under supervision - Show up on time, act professionally & not be dishonest about anything you don't know Pay: - $15-25 an hour (1099) depending on your productivity on the job. We're fair & we want you to get paid based on your performance. - Tools & bonuses as you progress - We hire the best helpers full-time or part-time as an HVAC technician if they can handle themselves or you can become your own installer. Hours: - Scheduled on as needed basis. Typical scheduling in the summer: 7:30AM - 6PM. 4 days a week. - We'll work with your schedule, but we typically need someone during the regular work day.
