The Benefits & HR Generalist handles team member benefit packages, including retirement and health benefits as part of PCL’s Human Resources Team (H❤RT). As a Benefits & HR Generalist, your duties include orienting new team members on their benefits packages, and enrolling them in the proper programs, as well as answering existing team members’ questions regarding benefits. You are also responsible for educating existing team members when their benefits change and helping them to make choices each year when re-enrolling. The Benefits & HR Generalist works to ensure that PCL is providing benefits to the team members of PCL that meet their needs. They look for new opportunities that will be a benefit for team members of PCL and make PCL a great place to work. They respond to questions and requests for information in a timely and professional manner. They have responsibilities in many areas and ensure that all are done to the very highest standards. They complete all tasks accurately and in a timely manner. They have a strong work ethic, with a high standard for success. The Benefits & HR Generalist supports the Human Resource Team as a positive role model. As a member of the Human Resource Team, they act in a professional and ethical manner. They understand that the team members of, and people supported by PCL, are their customers and will treat everyone they interact with in a dignified and respectful manner. Location(s): Monmouth Administrative Office (with occasional travel to Lane, Josephine, and Jackson counties) Type of Position: Regularly Scheduled, Full-time, hourly. Will include semi-monthly evenings and weekends (this is an in person position and requires regular attendance at the office) Starting Wages/Benefits: $16.50 - $17.75, DOE Benefits include Paid Leave, Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Retirement Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. Certificate or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred Experience Requirements: This is an entry level HR Generalist position, 1 + years of documented experience with customer service and/or clerical tasks, (1 + years previous experience in Human Resource position preferred.
