Scaffold Builder Job Summary Our company has immediate openings for Local Scaffold Builders in Phoenix, AZ. You will erect and break down temporary scaffolding and rigging for commercial and industrial projects. We prefer applicants who have completed an apprenticeship under a journeyman builder and worked in the field for several years, but we will also consider those who have construction experience or a background in carpentry. The ideal candidate must be proficient with standard power and hand tools and able to follow all industry-related safety regulations. You must also be comfortable working in high places and have the physical strength and stamina to work outdoors and standing for extended periods. Scaffold Builder Duties and Responsibilities Transport scaffolding materials to the job site Read blueprints for scaffold projects Construct and secure scaffolding around construction projects Inspect your work for safety issues Break down the structure once the project is complete Other duties as assigned Scaffold Builder Requirements and Qualifications Apprenticeship or professional experience (preferred) Basic math skills Must Have Own Tools Able to read and interpret blueprints Physical endurance and strength Communication skills
