Description
1 year old female German Shepherd available with rehoming fee to household with no small children. She has basic training and is house/kennel trained but she still jumps and plays too hard for small children. She walks ok on leash, but does pull when she sees things (cats/squirrels/dogs) that she wants to chase or play with. She likes to play ball, but is not great at giving it back to you. She is not spayed yet. The vet recommended waiting until the 2nd heat cycle to help joints get as strong as possible. She has had one heat cycle so far. I am asking 200$ rehoming fee plus the promise to get her spayed with no breeding. She has been ok with other dogs. She was a little timid at first at the dog park and when a neighbors dog came over, but warms up quickly. She wanted to play with the other dogs in basic obedience class, but wasn't allowed to. She wants to play with cats. She doesn't go after them to bite them, but she does like to chase things that run from her. We have two cats. One is old and just sits there. She comes up to him and wags her tail. He hisses and she leaves him alone. The other cat runs from her and if she isn't leashed, she chases it. When she catches up to it, she doesn't understand why the cat doesn't want to keep playing chase and just sits there wagging her tail waiting for it to run. This cat also enjoys sitting next to her kennel when she is in it and plays 'hide and seek' with her. So she doesn't try to harm cats, just play with them. Her parents were AKC, but she is not. I am reposting this because the craigslist email replies are not working for the first one. I have replied to all people who have asked questions but no replies back from them even though they seemed interested. I got my friend to test this with me by sending me a reply from the ad, and he did not get my reply when I sent one back to him. Hopefully this one works. If possible, consider giving me contact information in your reply just in case this repost doesn't work for my replies.
