Meet Bruno! Bruno was abandoned in my neighborhood the day before the big freeze in February. Left tied to the pool gate in the middle of the night, this sweet boy needed somewhere to stay warm during the cold weather because the shelters were full and could not take him in. We brought him with the intention of sending him to the shelter once there was room, but we quickly fell in love with him as he is very sweet and well-behaved. We even took him in to get vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped in March once we were certain that there wasn't an original owner looking for him. Unfortunately, our older dog is not willing to accept that another dog is making this his home. Bruno has been able to get older with the older dog fine, but the older (and much smaller) dog has tried to attack him a few times and we're just afraid that one time it's not going to end well. For this reason, we need to rehome Bruno. Bruno is fully potty trained, as well as, crate trained. He knows how to sit, lay down, and stay on command with sometimes also being able to roll over. He is highly motivated by treats so could easily be trained more commands. Bruno likes to sleep most of the day but does get bouts of energy that he can easily get out with a quick walk, playing fetch, or playing at the dog park. He is kind and loving with our 2 kids (ages 7 and 10) but due to his size and energy when he gets excited, would do better in a home that doesn't have small children. He does get along with other dogs but has tried to chase our cat so a home without cats is probably best. He is up to date on all of his vaccines (March 2022) and is neutered. He is also good on flea medication through the end of June. We were told at that appt that he was approx 1 and half years old. If you are the lucky one to give Bruno a new home, he'll come with a collar, leash, dog bed, large crate, the remainder of his dog food bag, raised food/water dish, and toys. Rehoming fee of $50 will get you this lovable dog + everything listed.
