Looking for a bassist who has range, style, pro gear, and at least some theory knowledge. Want to find someone who is willing to contribute to discussions and communication at AND outside of rehearsal. Availability to practice once a week and gig 3 or more times per month. Original music. Pop, soul, light rock, indie. I want to stress the communication side of things. Actively participating, or even prompting discussions about anything and everything related to the band - marketing, booking, composition, arrangements. Not just looking for someone who wants to show up and that's all. Should be reliable, punctual, have transportation and experience with gigging, recording, composition and teamwork.
