Large flooring, granite and cabinet company in the Grand Strand Area is seeking Operations Manager. Full-time, salary position open for immediate hire. OM will be responsible for the successful completion of residential and commercial installations. OM will interact with in-house install teams, subcontractors, customers, general contractors and project superintendents, as well as sales and executive management to efficiently execute work orders, identify problems in field, rectify punch and resolve any issues as needed to customer satisfaction. Insurance (health and short term disability) and 401k benefits available. Responsibilities and Duties: · Hire, fire, organize, manage and lead in-house installation crews, fabrication team and subcontractors · Review all installation details, schedule and assign jobs, identify concerns before project begins and then communicate with the installer, sales and customer, when needed · Maintain 2-week and 2-day schedule for all installation · Use judgment to resolve issues · Quality Control - Visits every job sites to verify quality, ensure client satisfaction and receive final payments · Review and approve all subcontractor invoices · General Warehouse and Building Maintenance (including inventory and supply organization; and tool maintenance) · Vehicle Maintenance (including identifying concerns or routine maintenance work needed to Supervisor, so work repairs can be completed) Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry (residential construction experience preferred). Flooring installation experience a plus · Excellent customer service, leadership experience, and communication skills · Good computer skills · Ability to resolve issues timely and with good judgment - Must have a valid South Carolina driver license and driver history deemed acceptable to drive a company vehicle - Must be a Team Player and Leader willing to go above and beyond expectations for our homeowners and to assist our team in doing whatever it takes to get the job done right! - Must be a problem solver and can take the initiative to get things done on time and within budget. - Must have superior communication skills and reporting skills, be dependable, organized, deadline-oriented, adaptable and stress tolerant and, of course, a people manager Full-time, salary position.
