• Previous Trailer Repair Experience (Preferred) • Previous Tarp System Experience (Preferred) • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish) • Available for regular overtime and weekends as needed to maintain production • Positive Team Player • Reliable and punctual • Operational knowledge of mig welding machine • Operational knowledge of cutting torch and plasma cutter We are currently looking for a full-time welder-installer. Experience with power tools is required. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs. May use ladders, scaffolding and scissors lifts. Prior forklift experience is preferred. Job includes installation of new tarping systems, tarping system repairs, freight tarp repairs, and fabrication of parts. The position includes other types of trailer repairs such as brake service, electrical lighting, running gear repair and welding. Must have a stable work history, know basic math, and have good eye/hand coordination. Must know how to read a measuring tape. Must be able to produce a high-quality product and meet production goals. Schedule: • 8 Hour Shift • Day shift • Monday – Friday • Overtime • Weekends Responsibilities: • Remove and reinstall trailer tarp systems and parts • Repair tarps that have been damaged • Remove and install livestock trailer tarps • General trailer repairs – welding, wiring and preventative maintenance • Recommend repairs or parts replacements on an as need basis • Preform needed campus-shop maintenance and repairs Compensation: • Depends On Experience • Flag Hour Basis Behaviors Required • Team Player: Works well as a member of a group • Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest • Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well • Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity • Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization • Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks • Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
