Full Time Nanny Position for Two Children

Hello. We are looking for a full time nanny to join our staff. The schedule is 6am-6pm, 4 days on, four days off, rotating. This schedule works out to an average of 42 hours a week. We have another full time nanny on staff that will work during your four days off. Here are a list of important qualifications: Experience working with more than one child at a time. Our children are almost 4 and almost 3. Experience or ability and desire to work on a team. Although you will be the only nanny on the days you work, this position requires a lot of communication and coordination with our other nanny. We also have a house manager that you will work closely with to make sure everything flows smoothly. This is a team oriented position. Comfortable with parents working from home. Both of us work from home and so we will see a lot of each other. Reliability. You must be someone highly reliable, dependable and accountable. References to this fact are a must. Desire to be active participant in children’s activities. We are not looking for someone to watch our children. We are looking for a nanny to activity engage with our children with activities, interests, play and learning. This is a very active position and requires enthusiasm and energy. Education in child development or willingness to learn about child development. Having multiple care takers requires consistency and ability to work with kids to fit their needs under our existing routines and practices. Good natured and positive attitude. Our household is one in which everyone works to support each other. Organized and tidy. This position requires being structured and keeping things clean. Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience.
