Employers Overload is currently hiring Recycle Techs for a campus in Hillsboro. The Recycle Techs are responsible for keeping up with the assigned recycling and reuse material in different areas of the campus. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Payrate: $18.00 per hour Responsibilities: - Keeping assigned areas recycling and reuse materials in orderly condition - Collect, salvage, and sort materials (ie: scrap metal, pallets, packing material) - Use of compactors, balers, shredders - Inspect materials and sort items according to type, size, and condition - Weigh materials and containers and keep record - Sweep and pick up trash from around dumpsters and utility courtyards Qualifications: - 6 months to 1 year of recycling experience or something similar - Able to complete all safety and task training certifications - Able to read and interpret documents in English for safety - Able to communicate effectively in English for safety - Able to walk, stand, sit, reach, stretch, lift, bend - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Pre-employment screening required If you are interested please apply today or call our office!
