Big Mama Gayle needs a Lead Vocalist/Guitarist

ABOUT US: We are Big Mama Gayle and Her Sugar Daddies, a fun-loving cover band based in Forest Grove. Over the past 20 years we've performed around the northern Willamette Valley and are looking to get started again now that venues have begun to open up. We play songs from a variety of genres including rock'n'roll, blues, RnB, funk, latin, country, etc. Due to some turnover and complications from the pandemic, we are rebuilding our show and training new members. We have our lead singer (Gayle) and our sax player returning, and we are training a new bass player and drummer. As we bring in new bandmates, we are also looking to add some fresh energy and expand our library of songs going forward with this next iteration of the band. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: A (preferably male) vocalist/guitarist or a vocalist/keyboardist to share lead vocal duties with Gayle and fill out the band. You would likely be singing lead on around 50% of our set. You should be proficient on your instrument, and you would definitely have freedom to take a solo here and there, if desired. If you are friendly, reliable, flexible, and can bring energy to the stage, you would be a good fit with our band. All ages welcome, we have had members ranging from 18 to 72 years!
