I just moved to Galveston from Denton, TX and need a local Bass player and Drummer with pro level experience. I write, play guitar, bass, and harmonica and sing. Currently booked at House Of Blues Houston July 2nd.(My guys are coming to play that show and 2 more current bookings in Dallas this summer.) I just met Mike at Drunken Monkeyz in The Strand and he is ready to book us now!! Not worried about playing cover songs. I have some real good material in the style of Petty/Stones/Crowes. 25 songs going so far. I have been told we have some Zeppelin in our sound. Somebody even said Radiohead. Both awesome compliments. We have 500+ Facebook followers and songs on Soundcloud. I have played 90 shows with this project since Dec '13. (Including House of Blues Foundation rooms Dallas and Houston) Safe, large rehearsal room in my house in Galveston, including a vintage Slingerland kit so drummer will not need to haul his drums for rehersal! 420 friendly, just be able to function!! YOU MUST BE WILLING TO SPEND TIME LEARNING THE SONGS ON YOUR OWN. I'm not a hard-ass, just need you to be somewhat familiar with some songs off Soundcloud when you come over for rehearsal. I can provide a Bass player with text files with chords and lyrics to speed things up.(if he wants them) I'm convinced we can be very successful and at least have a whole lot of fun!
