RWC, Inc. is looking for experienced herbicide applicators who have their home state pesticide license. We are a vegetation control company servicing some of our nations largest railroads! The position we are looking to fill is for an experienced herbicide applicator. Qualifications: Drivers License In good physical condition to lift 50lbs and pass a DOT Physical Knowledge of herbicides and their use Ability to correctly mix and apply herbicides Organization to fill out and call in spray reports Responsibility to run a crew of 2-3 people Job Benefits: Full Time Health Insurance 401k w/ match Paid Vacation The chance to see parts of the country only few have experienced Job Description: We are a vegetation control company that specializes in applying herbicides to the railroad and its surrounding properties. This job requires traveling for extended periods, 2-4 weeks, at a time, sometimes less depending on the location. While on the road, we stay in hotels, paid for by the company, and work whenever possible, depending on the weather and railroad schedule. There is no limit to overtime, usual weekly hours while traveling are 55-65 hrs/week. While on the job site, our crew will work with railroad employees to spray their properties and various locations along the railroad. All new employees go through railroad safety training to ensure we are professional and safe on the jobsite. $50/day per diem PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG/BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE MANDATORY We travel Mid March-Mid October. November-February we work Mon-Thur 10 hr days in our westfield shop repairing equipment and getting it ready for the next spray season.
