What's wrong with kids today

I was needing some help. Nothing to hard. Very easy job. On 2 separate occasions I hired a young man to help me. Both times they never showed up. I was paying them what I thought was good wage. Don't kids want to work these days. So here I am still needing help but where do I go to hire someone? Very frustrating.
