Job Description: abracadabra cleaning technician (magician) As an employee of abracadabra cape cod you will be required to: • be punctual, reliable, neat, clean and in uniform • be able to achieve excellent results with efficiency • be willing to do a variety of cleaning tasks as we have trained you to do them • have an eye for detail • work well with teammates and supervisors • communicate clearly with management and supervisors • be polite (but not personal) with clients • keep clear records on time sheets • make written notes of client concerns or issues • request schedule changes in advance and in writing • follow instructions and ask questions if they are not clear to you • be okay with clients' pets (i.e., not have pet allergies or phobias) • be available for the hours you are signed up for (typically 8:30-4:00 unless you have requested different hours) Cleaning technician duties include but are not limited to: • cleaning client residences, offices, restaurant common areas • cleaning and prepping vacation rentals, etc as per our methods and client specific checklists • maintaining supply kits and equipment daily • tracking inventory of open stock • maintaining a clean environment in the office (including the bathroom, supply room and lunch room) • present correctly filled in time sheets, and keep track of your own hours for verification • checking teammates work before signing out on each job • drop off and pick up client linens at the laundromat • interact with on site clients to make sure you know where to begin working, if they have special requests, and if they are satisfied with your results This is not a job for the sqeamish! It is sometimes gross and can be very dirty. It can also be somewhat physically challenging. Some of the homes we service are large and multi-storied so there can be a lot of stairs to deal with. Some furniture moving is required from time to time, but it must be done safely (not solo) to avoid injury or damages. You must be willing and able to stretch, bend, kneel, carry products and equipment up or down stairs, etc. Additional Information: Training pay is $19/hr IF the applicant has a car and can drive. $18 if not. We pay.45 per mile for gas to drivers. Only morning shifts available at this time. 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM but the end time is flexible and we can work with varying scheduling needs. We can do limited transportation within Dennis to pick up and drop off staff that don't drive. Saturdays and Sundays pay time and a half.
