Bassist Looking for Local Band

Hello, I am a bassist (electric bass) looking for a band to play shows with. I have been playing bass for about 19 years now. I am a 33 year old male in Brooklyn. I would like to join a band that's local since I do not drive. I am looking to join a rock band or similar genres (Metal, emo, indie, hard and classic rock, experimental, pop, punk, etc.). I am also available to fill in temporarily, recording sessions, house bands, backing band, open mics, cover bands, etc. I have played all over New York City in many big venues (Highline ballroom, CBGBs, DonHills, Bowery, Pyramid, Irving Plaza, Wild Spirits, Blackthorn 51, Red Zone, and many more!) I can send you links of me playing and my social media contacts. I can't post them here yet since I get A LOT of Craigslist spam or fakes, but will send them out in my replies. My band influences are wayyy too many to list, and I don't like to discourage anybody based on my influences. I'm open to many styles of music as long as it's creative. Please no gimmick-y bands (like I don't need to dress up looking like Axl rose or a tight pants wearing scene kid to play bass...image doesn't matter to me.) Males and Females welcome.
