Discover Catonsville's newest bike/hike trail and the rich history of the area during a 1-mile hike along the Short Line Trail. Enjoy a 1-mile casual hike on the Connection Trail, part of the 2.2 mile Catonsville Short Line Trail project that will run from Frederick Road to Charlestown Senior Living. The hike will begin at the Santa House on Frederick Road and end ½ mile later at Bloomsbury Ave. CRTT President, Sheldon Smith will lead a guided tour discussing the construction of the trail and the rich history of the area. Explore the new boardwalk section and the Mellor Ave. trail on the ½ mile return trip. Asphalt and gravel surface. The Catonsville Short Line train at the Mellor Ave. warehouse (now Shops at Mellor).
