ART FOR HAITI features Live Music, Haitian Art, Food and Drinks! All proceeds to benefit Heart & Purpose's work in Connecticut and Haiti! The event highlights upcoming and established Haitian art and artists collaborating to support Heart & Purpose's mission. This year's Art for Haiti will feature an amazing DJ, Live music by world renown artist Phyllisia Ross, an Art Expo, food, drinks and so much more! {More artists will be announced in the coming weeks!!) You will be able to connect with the featured artists and special pieces will be on sale at the event!! In previous years, proceeds from Art for Haiti allowed our nonprofit to provide household needs, laptops, hygiene products, and school supplies to the youth we support in Port-au-Prince. Currently, our Haiti initiatives include our full-ride scholarship for 12 girls in Haiti, a paid internship program, and an emergency assistance fund. In CT, we've awarded more than $6000 in scholarships to first-year students from Fairfield County, provide mentorship to youth in the community as well host our yearly Back-2-School event, providing more than 300 backpacks with school supplies to families each year.
