Join us for an acoustic show featuring Tim Van Ness, Cold Car, and Just Another Guru. If you enjoy live music, support local singer-songwriters with friends and family at Hale. Join the dedicated fan base of these 21+ acoustic shows (held once per season) in rustic venues. This show will be held in the Andrew Cucchiara Learning Center barn, 80 Carby Street, Westwood. Doors open at 7 PM, and the first set begins at 7:30 PM. Live at Hale and other programs coordinated by Hale’s artist-in-residence are made possible by the generosity of The Margaret Stewart Lindsay Foundation. About the ArtistsTim Van NessSinger/songwriter Tim Van Ness has been writing and performing for 35+ years. A classically trained singer, his contemporary folk and blues style and original songs speak to the resilience of the human spirit, his connection to Earth and its mysteries, and the pursuit of human and divine love. Cold CarCold Car is a mostly acoustic group featuring Ken Carter, whose “contagiously catchy melodies” are complemented by Leah Lodato’s “bass playing [that] bellows out the bottom end.” The duo is often joined in performance by friends and can be found throughout the Boston area performing easy listening, heartfelt, original tunes. Listen here. Just Another GuruJust Another Guru has been performing and playing music since 1997 throughout Boston’s Metrowest, Cape Cod, and Vermont. From Americana roots to rock and jam band grooves, band members John Gearin, Ian Ives, and Westwood’s trio of Eric Arnold, Chris Axworthy, and Colin O’Dwyer are passionate about sharing the music they love with others.
