Join us for our first Denver bird outing! Please join us for a bird outing on June 4th from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM at the City of Curenvaca Park. No experience or gear is needed. All are welcome to join! We will meet at 8:30 AM at the parking lot near the Westend Apartments off Rockmont Drive. The nearest bus stop is the 19 bus line that stops at 20th and Little Raven. This walk is about two miles of paved walkways and includes areas to sit, grab water, and use the restroom. Trails are wheelchair accessible. Please be prepared for the weather and we suggest bringing comfy clothes, snacks, and/or water. You do not need to stay for the entire 2 hours scheduled and are welcome to go as you need and stay longer if you can't get enough of the birds. All are welcome on this outing!! *As we begin to host bird outings, we want to make sure that we continue to take care of one another. Following current health guidelines, masks are optional on this walk, but we encourage people to bring a mask for social interactions. This outing is limited to 10 people. Please bring your birding gear if you have it and bring any additional gear you are willing to share. We also require that all participants follow the Feminist Bird Club code of conduct.
