Join Sailing Heals for a restorative sail offered free of charge for patients and caregivers navigating cancer. Come be a part of the first healing sail for 2022! Sailing Heals invites patients and caregivers navigating cancer to join a sail on Schooner Fame in Salem, MA on Wednesday, June 15, from 7:00-9:00pm. This event is offered free of charge to patients navigating cancer, as well as to the caregivers who do so much. Participants may bring up to 1 guest, and should arrive on-site at 6:30pm for a 7:00 departure. Registration is required. Capacity is limited to 30 tickets. Participants are offered up to 2 tickets to allow you to bring a guest. Examples of ticket pairings - (a) 1 patient and 1 caregiver, (b) 1 patient and 1 guest, (c) 1 caregiver and 1 guest. Participants are asked to limit registration to one sail per season. Anyone wishing to attend additional sails should contact [email protected] to be added to a waitlist to fill last minute cancellations. Accessibility: There is a ramp down and a few steps up to board the boat, as seen in the videos below. Once on board, there are steps down to access an interior washroom if needed.
