Join us as FSUMC—The People's Church celebrates 100 years of ministry! FSUMC—The People's Church is excited to welcome you to a two day event celebrating it's 100 year anniversary. The event will contain a mixture of celebration, service, and community education. The schedule is as follows: May 21, 2022 3:00pm - 6:00pm: The Story of Puerto Ricans in New York || This community building event will center the stories of Puerto Ricans in New York by engaging historical materials and inviting dialogue among audience members. 7:00pm - 9:30pm: Salsa Concert || The church will celebrate it's centennial with music and dancing, with the help of some of New York's best salsa bands. May 22, 2022 12:30pm - 2:30pm: FSUMC—The People's Church Centennial Service || This service will celebrate the 100 year ministry of this church, and send it off to 100 more years of service in the community. Guest Preacher: Claudia De La Cruz, Co-Executive Director of The People's Forum. 2:30pm - 6:00pm: Community Block Party || Music, vendors, and games will help us close the Centennial Celebration right outside the church.
