Description

A summer series of food, art, and music. Join Think!Chinatown for the second year of our summer series of art and food at the iconic gateway of the Manhattan Bridge. This new open-air cultural festival features Chinatown-focused programming alongside local art & food vendors.  Forsyth Plaza is located at the intersection of Forsyth & Canal St. In honor of APAHM Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Chinatown Night Market has invited CAPA Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans to showcase their 43rd Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Festival. As a long-standing tradition, Soh Daiko, the Japanese drumming ensemble, will open the festival with their exciting choreographed percussion performance. Artisans of traditional folk art crafts like paper cutting art, sugar painting, and braided straw figures will demonstrate their artform which will be available for purchase. Featured vendors include: Meat Asia, Indonesian Food Bazaar, Choy Commons, Momo Delight, Pho Master, Twisted Potato, and local Chinatown favorites, Kopitiam, Alimama, Xiang Mini Cakes, Pink Lady Cheesetart, and Wing on Wo…and more! Stay tuned for updates on event details and a complete vendor list. This is a community ran event, meaning so much hard work and dedication from our team & volunteers have come together to make this happen. We appreciate and need any donation you contribute through this ticket. Thank you, we can't wait to be in community with you. More details will be available here: www.thinkchinatown.org/nightmarket Chinatown Night Market is an evolved continuation of 2021’s Chinatown Nights.
