This event is organized to engage our communities, to raise awareness and to support survivors of human trafficking.
Michigan is ranked in the top ten states for human trafficking. According to the State of Michigan, human trafficking is commonly regarded as the second largest criminal enterprise and affects every community in Michigan across age, gender, ethnicity and socio-economic backgrounds. Out of the human trafficking cases reported this year, children made up 23% of those victims.
We would like you to be a part of this exciting event by participating in-person. This event will not only be a great opportunity to support our efforts you will have an opportunity to interact with the FBIDCAAA and FBI Community Liaisons.
A tented area is provided along with a picnic style lunch of hotdogs and hamburgers, salad and beverage. Your ticket includes all day admission to the zoo, however parking ($8.00) is not included.
This is a public event, all our welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
