Sunday, June 5th, 2:30-4:00PM Village Center for the Arts is proud to be hosting, in collaboration with New Milford Refugee Resettlement Group, master potter Abdul Matin Malikzada and his family!
There will be a slide show, demonstration, and pottery sale.$10 suggested donation.All proceeds go directly to benefit Malikzada family.Please call (860)354-4318 with any questions.
Master potter, Abdul Matin Malikzada, featured along with his family (wife and 4 kids) are part of a refugee resettlement program and just arrived in New Milford. Matin (pronounced “Mateen”)was the head of the pottery department at the Turquoise Mountain academy in Kabul.
