Press release from Team Woofgang: May 15, 2022 Team Woofgang will host its popular "Party with a Purpose" Fundraiser on June 2 at the newly opened Park City Music Hall in the historic Black Rock section of Bridgeport. The annual event returns with a new, groovy theme, Woofgang A Go Go! - a homage to the music of the 1960's. Band Central will perform live with a playlist of 60's songs curated especially for the event. The high-energy celebration kicks off at 6:30 pm with music, dancing, cocktails, silent auction, and food catered by Harborview Market - owners of Park City Music Hall. Participants will also find a silent auction full of great experiences, a "souvenir shack," and video presentations celebrating the work of Team Woofgang & Co. "It is an extraordinary honor to serve this outstanding organization and I am very excited about chairing this event to support a mission which is very dear to my heart," says Christine Brown, Team Woofgang Board Member and event chair. "We are also excited that Band Central has curated a very special playlist and unique band just for this event to ensure that our supporters and team members have an amazing night to remember." The setlist includes hits such as Heard it through the Grapevine, You Really Got Me, Mustang Sally, These Boots are Made for Walking, For Once in My Life, and Chain of Fools to name a few. Expected to perform are local professional musicians Rob Fried, Joe Gray, Gabrielle Lakshmi, John Torres, Scott Packham, Bill Carbone, Scott White, Crispin Cioe, Andy Kadison, Paola Murphy, and Audry Nefores. "Park City Music Hall is a fantastic addition to our community and the perfect location for us to host our event this year, located across the street from our production facility. We can't wait for our guests to experience this new venue all while helping Team Woofgang raise the essential funds necessary to support our team of individuals with disabilities," said Amiee Turner, Executive Director.
