Press release from the Wright County Government: May 13, 2022 A Message from Wright County Elections Candidate filing for the 2022 general election opens Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Office seekers may file their affidavit of candidacy until May 31. For more information about filing for office in Wright County, please visit the Wright County Elections candidate filing page. Potential office seekers should also review the campaign filing packet which can be found on the Secretary of State's website. There you will find links to the affidavit of candidacy form, campaign finance forms and additional information to administer your campaign. The Wright County elections team will begin accepting affidavits of candidacy for state, judicial, and county office seekers at the Finance and Taxpayer Services service window located on the first floor of the new government center starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 17. Federal office seekers must file with the Secretary of State's office. The Wright County elections office will also be open for extended hours until 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 as required by state law.
