CHP Reports Fatal Crash On I-80 In Vallejo

VALLEJO, CA — The California Highway Patrol reopened westbound Interstate Highway 80, two hours after it was shut down early Sunday by a fatal collision in Vallejo just south of the Magazine Street on-ramp. The CHP responded to a 12:33 a.m. report of the collision and closed the westbound lanes shortly thereafter. The ensuing investigation included a search for a white pickup truck in connection with the collision after its license plate was found at the scene. Authorities later found the truck in Vacaville.
