Any renters out there sick of their skyrocketing rent? At this point I don't care who caused it. It needs to stop. Now. Dallas area where I live does not obey code compliance laws at all. A lot of folks are on lists now for housing assistance. Especially old people on fixed incomes. Food stamps gone wild. Seriously...who can afford to actually buy food after paying mega rent and gas costs? I don't think a lot of people even realize how bad this really is. Wanna buy a home? Lol. Good luck with that. A better apt without roaches and black mold? Sure! Long as you can pay $1,500 or more a month. My big question is...what are any of our great politicians on either side doing about it? Really. What? What are the pro lifers doing about no baby formula in stores? Do you want to save lives then starve them to death? These women have to work to pay that high rent, gas and food and daycare. As a matter of fact I can't find a lot of things anymore in stores. Even Amazon ran out of milk and water a few days ago. It's like the twilight zone for a lot of us out here.
