Hello! Thank you for showing interest in the private caregiving position. We are searching for PSW’s who have already completed a background check, required trainings and have a current, valid provider number through the state of Oregon. If you don’t have a provider number, this posting is not for you. Shifts currently open: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 8am to 8pm Wednesday - 8pm to 8am (overnight, sleeping.) Orientation, ongoing training and backup support is provided as part of a team of professionals. We respect and value your skills. The customer is looking for a PSW to support independent living skills in their own home. The caregiver has a dedicated bedroom. There are 2 shared bathrooms in the home. There are no pets in the home. You would provide safety monitoring and support for the person to meet their daily needs (eating, medication, hydrating, safety) at home and provide companionship and communication support for the individual out in the community. You will provide occasional transportation in your car; mileage reimbursement is available. Information about the individual's needs and preferences will be discussed during the interview. About you: The ideal candidate would have the following attributes: Self awareness, has the ability to recognize and prevent sensory triggers of customer Flexible and clear communication skills as the customer's advocate Patient and compassionate Consistent attendance / communicate in advance for schedule changes Has reliable personal transportation Prior training or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities Please contact Laura with a copy of your resume and availability.
