LOST: Cremains at Deseret Industries in April

Description
Hello, This is an unusual situation, but I accidentally donated the cremains of my kitty, Punkin, back in late March/early April. Please read on. Since mid-March, I had been downsizing out of a storage unit. Every Saturday, and at least one evening after work during the week, I would donate boxes, bins and bags full of clothing, household items, books, furniture, etc. to Deseret Industries at 67th Ave and Bell Road. Unfortunately, on Wednesday night (4/06/22) I realized that I had accidentally donated the cremains and keepsake tin of my first female kitty, Punkin, whom I had to euthanize on 3/24/2012 due to end-stage kidney disease. That was 10 years ago. Even though it was 99.9% likely that the cremains already made their way from the donation bins, into the thrift store, through the checkout lane and back to someone's home, I called Deseret Industries and spoke with the manager, Brad, to ask if I could come in and look around. He was kind enough to let me go in at 07:30 Thursday and spend 90 minutes looking through everything that I could before the store opened at 09:00. I even went back on Friday morning and went through the aisles again. From Wednesday night through Monday afternoon, I slowly and carefully went back through every remaining box and bin that I had left, then I did it one more time. Then I searched through every square inch of my room, from one corner all the way around back to the same corner, twice. I knew then that it was 100% that I accidentally donated my kitty's cremains. Considering that I recently had to put down my boy kitty on 3/12/2022 due to being riddled with cancer that I had absolutely no clue about... to say that I am in shock and devastated to realize I also accidentally donated my first kitty's cremains is an understatement. I don't have children, so my pets have been my little four-legged kids. This is the only way I can think of to reach the community of people that have shopped at the Deseret Industries thrift store in the months of March and April. No matter how small the possibility, I'm desperately hoping that someone came across the cremains and/or keepsake tin and maybe set them aside to bring back to the thrift store. The cremains were in a white plastic tall square container, approximately 2-3" W x 2-3" D x 7-9" H, with a label on it indicating the name "Punkin" and dated in 2012. The keepsake tin was still in the process of being decorated with colored shells and items glued to the outside of the lid and around the sides of the base of the tin, and inside would have been little momentos of Punkin, such as a tooth she lost when she was kitten and snip of hair. Whoever is reading this, I am begging you from the depth of my heart to help put the word out there. It's probably a trillion to one odds, but I'm trying. And if you or someone you know did come across these items and still have them, please either reply and let me know or take the item(s) back to Deseret Industries and give them to Brad (the manager) to contact me. Thank you kindly. Sincerely heartbroken
