The purpose of this position is to help maintain a ten-acre blueberry breeding operation. Also, to support the farm manager and breeder in seasonal tasks and improvements to the farm.
The Role of The Field Worker:
Responsibilities:
• Weeding, planting, watering, and harvesting
• Helping farm manager assemble and maintain farm structures
• Monitoring issues with plant material
• Maintaining a clean work environment and disposing of plant materials
• Recording measurements
Worker Requirements:
• Will manage time and tasks appropriately
• Able to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions
• Able to lift 40 lbs
