U-Haul Sprinter Van Driver for Summer Camp in Prospect Park

We are hiring an experienced and safe driver to drive a 9 foot U-Haul Sprinter Van, delivering camp materials daily M-F to and from our day camp programs near Litchfield Villa in Prospect Park. Job Responsibilities: * Pick up U-Haul Sprinter Van from designated parking spot and park at Litchfield Villa by 6:45 am * Assist in daily unloading of the van at the start of camp day by 8:30 am * Assist in daily loading of the van at the end of the camp day at 3:00 pm * Retrieve U-Haul Sprinter Van filled with camp materials and return to the designated parking spot by approx 5 pm * Drive Van to our Brooklyn office in DUMBO Wednesday and Friday afternoons to restock the van and return it to the designated parking spot * Follow routes to various destinations, or use maps and GPS to navigate routes on the fly * Maintain vehicle and equipment condition and cleanliness * Maintain and have safe and compliant driving record, following all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations Estimated Hours/Dates : 26-30 Hours a week Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 6:00- 8:30am, 3:00-5:00 pm Wednesday/Friday: 6:00- 8:30am, 3:00-7:30 pm Dates: June 6th-August 22nd Qualifications: * Must be fully vaccinated against covid-19, or willing to take weekly tests * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * In a team, able to lift 25-50 lbs of camp materials without injury * Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine * Positive attitude and professional demeanor * Reliable and punctual and demonstrates professionalism to job and duties * Able to follow verbal directions and follow GPS * Self- Motivated, able to work alone, and also help support a team * Willing to commit to the entire camp season * Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Apply Here: Please visit and select “Driver” to fill out an application.
