Join community leader and activist Pastor Derek Terry for an unforgettable event celebrating Black Culture through food, music, conversation, and fun at our first Welcome Table event since 2019.  This adult only event will host a racially, socially, and economically diverse guest list and will  be informative, extremely fun and delicious.  Come to build community, learn, and inform! There will also be a fried chicken lesson! ***This is an in person event with food. All guests are required to show proof of vaccination & masks are optional*** Food will be provided but please feel free to bring anything you need for yourself or to share with others if you would like. Food is very important at the event as it offers us the opportunity to share our culture and experiences as we learn to understand the experiences of others. Menu: Rev. Derek's famous fried chicken, homemade cornbread, collard greens (vegan), vegetable soup (vegan), dressing & gravy, fresh veggie and fruit trays, homemade peach cobbler w/ bourbon sauce. The tickets are limited so please reserve yours quickly! We always sell out. The cost of the ticket covers food and there is usually enough to take a plate home as well.
