Join us in a free event recognizing community health workers and frontline public health workers serving their communities. Lunch provided!
Community Health Workers, Promotoras, Patient Navigators, and frontline public health workers serving their communities are invited to attend a Meet & Greet event at Rainier Beach Community Center on June 7th, 2022, 10am –2pm. This free event is an opportunity for all frontline public health workers to gather and build community. Lunch will be provided. The purpose of the event is to recognize those who have been serving their communities through the pandemic, as well as hold space for Community Health Workers to discuss together their role, supports in place and supports needed. Please join us for this fun event including food, prizes, performances, and coming together!
Precautions will be taken to ensure a safe space for everyone, and to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19.
This event is being hosted by a network of organizations who work with and support Community Health Workers. These organizations include: Center for MultiCultural Health, Global to Local, Healthy King County Coalition, International Community Health Services, Public Health Seattle/King County, Seattle Children’s.
