Naperville Firefighters Battle Blaze On Cobblestone Court

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville firefighters extinguished a blaze in the 1200 block of Cobblestone Court Monday afternoon that was caused by burning weeds, according to a news release. Fire crews got to the scene at 4:45 p.m. to find smoke coming from the home's attached garage. When firefighters arrived, they found that four adults and five children were safely out of the home. Firefighters put out a small blaze in the wall of the garage and removed smoke from the home, which sustained minor damage to its basement. The home was deemed habitable after the fire was put out. Fire officials say the blaze was caused by the burning of weeds against the rear of the garage.
