Join us on June 7th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for our Youth Empowerment Series with the Learning Center for the Deaf! Join us on June 7th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for our Youth Empowerment Series with the Learning Center for the Deaf! This is a student-led event focused on Deaf culture and communication! Middle school students, high school students, and GSA advisors in MA of all identities are welcome. This event will be in-person at Canton High School and take place during the GSA Student Leadership Council's Southeast Regional Meeting. Students will lead 5 interactive stations that attendees can rotate through, focused on Deaf culture and communication. Station topics include: • Basic Sign Language and LGBTQ+ Terminology • Deaf LGBTQ+ Social Media Accounts and Resources • Deaf Bing: Tendencies within the Deaf Community • Famous Deaf LGBTQIA people • Self Care/Chat Station There will also be plenty of time to hangout, connect, and make new friends!🌈 Learn more and register for this event at https://TinyUrl.com/YouthEmpowerment8
