Join us for a night of networking with fellow engineers, designers, product managers, and tech enthusiasts presenting on exciting topics. 5:30pm - Networking & Refreshments 6:00pm - Lightning Talks Annie Bernhardt, Senior Director and Program Leader, shares her top 5 tips for successful program management in a startup environment. Annie will share her tips on how to accelerate delivery and decision-making, how to build real #connection, and how to have fun while doing it! Deon Crasto, Staff Product Manager, shares insights on building products for scale. Along the way he’ll share experiences from his startup journey, self-service platforms and how we’re rethinking Checkr’s monetization engine to serve 100k customers. Jason Brown, Senior Software Engineer, will talk about how we met the need of Checkr's customers who wanted global hiring within our platform. He will share how we built multi-region application deployments, cross-region traffic routing, and unique data store strategies to support running our code and storing data across the globe. Chuck Kim, Senior Director of Engineering, knows that the pace of new technologies and methods can be taxing to engineers, especially in the field of DevOps and SREs. How do you keep up, and what are the critical steps to take when supporting an engineering organization?
