An annual WASH symposium focused on creating impact in the global water, sanitation & hygiene sector. Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) are basic necessities for a healthy environment and a productive life. They are interrelated, but building infrastructure (hardware), conducting training and education (software) and finishing a project doesn’t necessarily have an IMPACT unless there is capacity building and systems in place to build on the success of the initial work so that the WASH system leads to longer term sustainability that leads to measurable impact in homes, communities, and regions.
