Learn about incentives available to their businesses from the State at this Lunch and Learn. Join us for a lunch n learn for this quarter’s NOFAB event. Steve Baham, Associate Director within the Business Expansion and Retention Group at Louisiana Economic Development will talk to us about all of the financial incentives available to businesses from State. Attendees will get an overview of the incentives and have the opportunity to ask questions specific to their business. Please note that attendance is capped at 25 individuals, and will be first come, first served via the Eventbrite link. Lunch will be provided for attendees. Steven Baham currently serves as Associate Director within the Business Expansion and Retention Group at Louisiana Economic Development. In this position, he is the department’s direct lead contact for the Southeast and Bayou Regions as it relates to established business. His previous roles within LED include Manager of Business Incentives Services where he was primarily responsible for overseeing all financial assistance and capital programs for the Department as well as directing the daily operating activities of the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors. Prior to a career in economic development Mr. Baham dabbled in real estate and insurance as well as managing his own independent tax preparation business for 7 years. His 16 year economic development career includes 6 years as a small business consultant as well as acquiring his Economic Development Finance Professional certification. Mr. Baham’s education includes an MBA degree from Southeastern Louisiana University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southeastern.
