What is Sound Beginnings? Come to a preview class to find out! We will sing, play, dance, learn, play instruments and have lots of fun! Sound Beginnings is for children age 0-4 and a loving parent or caregiver. This special 3-session class features songs and activities from all 6 of our Sound Beginnings curricula. Tuition is only $15 if you and a friend both register for this class. Otherwise it is just $25 for you to experience these fun classes with your child. You can pay by Venmo (@musikandme) to secure your place in class after you have signed up through this site. We'll focus on letters and their sounds (and signs), name recognition, telling time, calendars, counting, weather and more. We learn solfege, play instruments, teach in-tune singing, experience classical pieces, identify timbre, introduce the staff & scales, distinguish high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, and more! We examine feelings & appropriate responses, learn manners, practice taking turns, encourage helping, and more. Each class is 30 minutes, and I will be available afterward to answer questions and help you get registered if you decide the full semester class is what you are looking for! No pressure, just music, fun, and play!
