GEPAR and GEPAR MLS DO NOT AND CANNOT fix, control, recommend, suggest or maintain commission rates or fees for services to be rendered by members, or any division of commissions or fees between firms; discourage cooperation with non-members, or any division of commissions or fees between firms; discourage cooperation with non-members; or discourage a member from accepting a listing from a seller preferring to give an office exclusive. Under the NAR Code of Ethics, the ethical obligation to cooperate does not include an obligation to compensate; and REALTORS® shall NOT discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin; make false or misleading statements about competitors or their business practices; or take any action inconsistent with exclusive agreements that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
