Getting Cancer, And Giving Back In 2015, at just 39 years old, Dr. Deval Gadhvi was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. The physician who had no known risk factors became a patient fighting for survival. Dr. Gadhvi's experience as a breast cancer survivor gave her a new mission in life-to help educate young girls on the risks of breast cancer and the need to advocate for their mothers to get screened. Let's Save Ma, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is committed to raising breast cancer awareness and providing breast cancer education and screenings to women of all ages with a focus on reaching the South Asian community and other underserved populations.Early detection can save lives..one screening at a time. Please join Let's Save Ma (letssavema.org) at their inaugural fundraising event on Wednesday, May 18 from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Harborside Atrium, 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City. Tickets are $125.00 per person and $75.00 if you are a Breast Cancer Survivor. All proceeds will benefit Let's Save Ma. letssavema.org
