Ryan Watson has created a body of work called Tell Your Hairstory which is a collection of photographs and mixed media art that depicts the experiences she's had related to hair, exploring the challenges and impact hair has had on her self esteem, identity and self-expression with a feature piece called Deeply Rooted. She will be debuting her art and holding an engaging panel discussion on the various aspects of "Black Hair". It will be an amazing event that you will not want to miss! About the Panelist: Ryan Watson | @ryansartministryRyan Watson is a new artist on the scene who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently lives in Houston, Texas. Ryan has spent most of her professional career working as an engineer turned marketer. While working in marketing she developed a deep understanding of the power of storytelling through advertising. As a marketer Ryan saw a unique opportunity to combine her creativity, faith, Christian values and storytelling to create art. Ryan has journeyed to create art that combines photography and mixed media that illustrate topics, experiences and ideas relevant to her and her Community. Started making products at the age of 20, I was experiencing stress hair loss and was determined to regrow my hair back. I was making products for 5 years before me and my mother launched KT Beauty Boom. We knew we were on to something when we helped our matriarch regrow her hair back from post chemo-hair loss. My mother and I put our brains together and birthed KT Beauty Boom. We opened our 1st Brick and mortar December 7th 2020 during the pandemic. We recently wrote a book together called "Manifest Hair Growth - No more bad hair days" our goal is to help people restore a healthy head of hair and fight hair loss from the inside out.
