Juneteenth FREEDOM FEST 2022 Our 2022 Juneteenth event, Freedom Fest, is intended to be a high-energy and interactive family-friendly event that begins after the Juneteenth parade concludes. The Freedom Fest will feature; a BBQ pit-master competition, sling-shot showcase, children’s activities, a showcase on our Soul of the City Freedom Fest Sound Stage of local musical artists, local food trucks, and an opportunity to connect with the very people that make up the essence of the Eastside all on the grounds of the Colony Park.
