Come join Veterans Upward Bound as we welcome summer and enjoy a Chicago Dogs baseball game! Learn more about VUB at our summer celebration Meet the VUB Team Event! Chicago Dogs Baseball game on Sunday, June 12, 2022, first pitch is at 3:00 pm. Registration for all participants includes: VUB T-Shirt, Chicago Dogs game ticket, food buffet, soft drinks, and popcorn during the game. Each veteran attending the event will receive a VUB swag bag and is allowed to register one guest to attend the game with them. Transportation is provided prior to the game time from the CTA Blue Line, Rosemont Station to Impact Field and after the game from Impact Field to the CTA Blue Line, Rosemont Station. If you chose to drive directly to the stadium, the parking garage is first come, first served, and costs $3 per car or free if you drive a Hyundai. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at noon. Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is a free-of-charge program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that helps veterans, who have not completed a Bachelor's degree, to prepare for enrollment at a college of their choice. If not, we cannot guarantee them a ticket and entry into the game. Limited to one guest per veteran registered.
