Inspired by the life and learnings of 2022 James Beard Award Outstanding Chef Finalist, and activist Reem Assil, Arabiyya, meaning “Arab woman,” is a collection of 100 bright and bold recipes influenced by the vibrant flavors and traditions from Reem’s upbringing. Written from her point of view as an Arab in diaspora, Reem takes readers on a journey through her Palestinian and Syrian roots and explores how they have inspired her recipes for flatbreads, dips, snacks, platters to share, and more. Hosted by The Daily and Maryam Ghaznavi, chef and owner of Charleston’s Ma’am Saab and Malika. Your ticket includes a signed cookbook, a curated menu of inspired dishes from the cookbook (+ wine), and a powerful conversation between Maryam and Reem.
